Red Telephone Books, a new imprint of Bridge House Publishing, is based in Manchester, UK.
Our name derives from a song contained on Love’s Forever Changes album. It describes the system which facilitated direct communication between the leaders of Russia and the United States
during the Cold War. We intend that this classic cipher of vital communication will reflect the quality and energy of our published output.
Red Telephone titles are edited by Gill James, who also wrote the imprint's first novel, The Prophecy. Gill writes fiction and educational materials for children
and young adults. She has over thirty books in print. Gill also lectures in Creative Writing at the University of Salford.
The Red Telephone logo was designed by Trevor Pattinson, an artist and musician based in Manchester.
